Granite Kitchen Worktops – FAQs
Do granite worktops need to be sealed?
Yes, every Classico Marble granite worktop is sealed before leaving our workshop. This helps reduce staining and makes surfaces easier to care for.
Can you put hot pans on granite?
We recommend always using a trivet. Although granite is heat resistant, sudden or intense heat can cause surface stress or discolouration.
Do granite worktops stain?
Granite is resistant to most staining, especially when sealed. However, acidic or coloured liquids (like wine or lemon juice) should be wiped away promptly.
Can granite worktops be repaired?
Yes, small chips or marks can often be repaired, although some repairs may remain visible depending on the stone.
