Quartz

Quartz engineered stone

Quartz combines the elegance of stone with the assurance of modern engineering. Its uniform finish, strength and low maintenance make it a popular choice for contemporary homes and commercial spaces alike.

We have a live slab inventory of quartz slabs and other engineered materials in stock and we can help you source the slab that you would like for your project if we don’t have what you want. We are equally happy to work with quartz you have sourced yourself, though we would recommend you ensure your quartz has been certified by an independent body such as the NSF/ANSI (see our article on certified quartz for more details).

Stone Italiana

Sustainable Innovation in Engineered Surfaces

At Classico Marble, we are committed to offering materials that combine aesthetic appeal with responsible manufacturing. Stone Italiana’s quartz range and latest engineered stone innovations, the Cosmolite® and Supernova ranges, exemplify this commitment.

Stone Italiana – Quartz collection

Stone Italiana’s quartz slab materials are:

  • Easy to sanitise
  • Durable
  • Scratch-resistant
  • Heat resistant to 180 degrees C
  • Certified as low VOC and food safe

Stone Italiana Cosmolite® – 100% recycled engineered stone

Cosmolite® is a pioneering material crafted entirely from 100% pre-consumer recycled minerals, sourced from the quarrying industry in Northern Italy. Unlike traditional quartz surfaces, Cosmolite® contains no quartz and boasts a low silica content.

This composition not only reduces environmental impact but also offers enhanced safety for stone worktop fabricators and end-users alike. Cosmolite® surfaces are durable, non-porous, and resistant to stains and scratches, making them suitable for various applications, including kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities.

Available in a range of collections such as Cosmo, K-Star, Meteor, Planet, Venantis, and DNA Urbano CMT, Cosmolite® offers diverse aesthetic options to suit different design preferences. Each collection features unique patterns and finishes, from subtle grains to bold veining, allowing for personalised interior solutions.

Stone Italiana Supernova – very low-silica engineered stone

Supernova is made from selected, pure raw minerals with a minimal level of silica (maximum 5%), extremely low for an engineered material and one of the lowest silica content materials on the market.

The main characteristics of the Supernova collection are its impact resistance, its workability and ease of cleaning.

The qualities and performance of the Supernova collection is the same as all the other Stone Italiana collections, it is easy to clean, does not scratch or stain and is heat resistant up to 180oC. Multiple certificates confirm the green credentials, low VOC emissions and safety of this collection in different applications such as kitchen and bathroom worktops, stairs, interior cladding, etc.
