Billy the Kid bespoke kitchen project
A unique street art bespoke kitchen designed by Katie Lusty of Elementi Cucina
This bespoke kitchen project is truly a one-off and we are delighted to have played our part. Elementi Cucina‘s Creative Director Katie Lusty had wanted to create a street art kitchen for some time but it wasn’t until she met the owners of this home that she got the opportunity to actually create it.
The homeowners collected pieces by an up and coming graffiti artist Billy the Kid and Katie reached out to his agents and asked him to be involved in the bespoke kitchen project. Completely incognito of course as his identity is kept top secret! Katie fused his bold, bright, personalised, and original street art with the luxury Italian kitchen brand Pedini.
A stunning central kitchen island functions as the main cooking space, bar and table. We crafted a large-scale Stone Italiana Golden Marmorea quartz worktop and waterfall sides for the kitchen island. The marble-look quartz is hard wearing and continues the luxury italian style. Our team also crafted a wrap around table in Fiore Dibosco marble, which sits slightly lower than the worktop level and neatly extends outwards showing off angled end panels in the process. Billy the Kid’s art is installed on the back of the island and features personal touches. Read more about the kitchen on Elementi Cucina’s website Billy the Kid project page.
The result is an incredible family kitchen. We had so much fun working on this project with the Elementi Cucina designers. There were some tricky calculations but as a team we resolved it and the design vision was realised.
