Training & Development 

Any company success in todays aggressive and highly competitive market can be determined by a number of factors. The most important of these is its people. Classico are no exception to this and are continually faced with a skills gap. 
The days of finding people with the skills we need are in decline and as generations of workers grow older, there is an ever increasing gap appearing.  
To counteract this, Classico have proactively developed an apprentice scheme, giving us the opportunity to develop and pass on these skills to the next generation. Since its inception over 11 apprentices have come through the scheme. Securing this investment secures our future while at the same time providing our apprentices with a nationally recognised qualification and a trade, building the foundations for their careers.  
But it does not stop here, the old adage “your never to old to learn” ensures all employees are continually trained and developed to increase their worth and contribution. In 2016 - 2017 our staff attended over 370 hours of training including product training, Health and safety training, Equipment training and First Aid training to name just a few.  
Our installation teams are currently undertaking Level 2 NVQs to further develop their careers by acheiving a Nationally recognised Qualification.
